PLUS … Rock ‘n Roll is here to stay! And so are women in rock ‘n roll. Oral Historian and writer, Tanya Pearson, discusses her Women of Rock Oral History Project with Lucretia Tye Jasmine. WOROHP documents the lives and careers of women & gender non-conforming individuals in rock – whose work and careers have been underrepresented or omitted from rock journalism and historical scholarship. An amazing range of women – including LA’s own Alice Bag & Phranc. The collection of digital interviews is housed at the Sophia Smith Collection at Smith College, one of the first women’s history archives in the United States.
