June 29 on FM: Subversive Feminist Fiction from Granta

Granta Summer Issue 115 – The F Word

How about some delicious summer reading?! Hosts Ariana Manov & Lynn Harris Ballen cover the latest issue of Granta – the famous international Quarterly magazine of new writing – with Granta’s summer issue “The F Word”.

Great fiction & non fiction that explores the ways in which feminism continues to inform, address and complicate the gender balance. Our guests include British-Ghanaian writer Taiye Selasi, on a young girl’s initiation into the world of adults in ‘The Sex lives of African Girls’; short story star Helen Simpson‘s subversive take on the anxieties of marriage in ‘Night Thoughts’, and more.

That’s all on Feminist Magazine, on Wednesday at 7pm. This is what feminist writing sounds like!
