AND … Violence against women in Mexico is horrifying. 10 Women are murdered daily, 4 of them by their partner. In 2019 3,600 women and girls were killed. On Monday March 9th women went on strike across Mexico, and here in LA a #NiUnaMasNiUnaMenos group stood protesting outside the Mexican Consulate in solidarity with their sisters in Mexico, to hold our governments accountable. We talk to local organizer Lucy Castro.
