National Trust for Historic Preservation initiative – “Where Women Made History” is focusing on recognizing women’s contributions, including women of color and queer histories.
And we’re joined today by Chris Morris – who leads this program, in partnership with the Los Angeles Conservancy.
While Trump has issued executive orders trying to erase histories at national parks, this “LA Womens Landmarks Project” is working to create a model for cities across the country – to add diverse women’s history that was omitted, to add new landmark sites of women’s achievement, and create educational programs.
