Through personal essays, criticism, interviews, testimonios, poetry, and visual art, This Bridge Called My Back is a testimony to women of color feminism as it emerged in the last quarter of the twentieth century. Last year we were honored to be joined by co-editor Cherrie Moraga for an in-depth conversation talking about the herstory and impact of this foundational book, personal stories about the creation of the book and how it influences students today.
