THIS WEEK on Feminist Magazine with host Lynn Harris Ballen :  FIRST  … Almost three weeks ago 22 year old #MahsaAmini died in custody in Tehran after being detained by Iran’s ‘morality police’. In the days since her death, thousands have taken to the streets – originally to protest against the country’s hijab laws but expanding to protests and long simmering resentments against religious and political oppression by the current regime. We’re joined by Gelare, an Iranian artist and activist now living in Los Angeles, to get a perspective on the roots of what’s being called a Feminist Revolution happening in Iran.
