THIS WEEK
on Feminist Magazine with host Lynn Harris BallenFIRST … Planned Parenthood Federation of America recently announced that the Trump administration, through an unethical and dangerous gag rule, has forced grantees out of Title X, the nation’s decades-old bipartisan program for affordable birth control and reproductive health care. AND … Cherise Charleswell talks to Community educator, advocate, and author Shivon Pearl Love and poet, author, and health educator Khaliah D. Pitts; co-founders of Our Mother’s Kitchen, a culinary and literature project, produced for black folk who are looking to reconnect to their cultural heritages, tell their own stories and plant their mothers’ seeds.
