img_6685Hosted by Cherise Charleswell and Valecia Phillips
Coming up on Feminist Magazine, Cherise Charleswell speaks with Professor Brooke Midkiff about her book “The Shifting Boundaries of Feminism in American Politics: A Case Study of Hillary Clinton”; which offers an interesting analysis of Hillary’s political record and relationship with intersectional feminist issues. Midkiff utilized a feminist approach to critical policy analysis to examine Hillary Clinton as a presidential candidate.

For the second half, we discuss the continued fight against the erosion of abortion rights. From restrictive laws to a lack of information to violent attacks, the blocking of abortion access is eroding the reproductive rights of women. Featuring a piece from Making Contact’s Women Rising Radio, we hear from Jessie Nieblas of the New Orleans Abortion Fund and Liza Fuentes for Ibis Reproductive Health, as well as experiences from a doctor who provides abortions and a woman that sought abortion access in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Tuesday at 3:00 PM. THIS is what feminism sounds like!
