Meet body worker and birth Doula – Pati Garcia. A body worker trained in Shiatsu, Cranio-Sacral, Pregnancy, Women’s Sacred Anatomy, and birth Doula. Pati brings people to a deeper understanding of self, therefore evolutionizing individuals’ awareness and well-being. We’ll also discuss her role as a women’s consciousness raising workshop leader and women’s sacred anatomy teacher including self-examination guidance. Her passion is to provide accurate information so a woman can make informed decisions about her body.

But, first joining us is Cynthia Buiza, Policy Director at CHIRLA – Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights of Los Angeles – formed in 1986 to advance the human and civil rights of immigrants and refugees in Los Angeles; promote harmonious multi-ethnic and multi-racial human relations; and through coalition-building, advocacy, community education and organizing, empower immigrants and their allies to build a more just society-we will look at many of the policies in place with a focus on women-whom are often left out of the national dialogue on inhumane practices allowed by policies such as ice raids and 287g.
