Rinku Sen – author, activist, and former Executive Director of Race Forward – is co-hosting a Free online Women’s Leadership Summit later this month. She’ll tell us about the diverse group of 30 social justice leaders, influencers, executives and experts who’ll be leading sessions. And about the practical insights and tips to grow influence and build organizational support for women’s leadership – all to help women step into greater roles of influence and create a more just and equitable world.
PLUS … Rise to Reunite is a local community group of immigration attorney Moms and community members, working to assist detained children separated from their families at the border. We hear an update from co-founder Angeline Chen – who’s been going down to the border to help families with legal counsel. And all about the pop up Happy Hour event that they’re hosting with Maya Jupiter and Aloe Blacc on Tuesday Sept. 4th, to raise funds for AL OTRO LADO – a non-profit providing legal aid and services to families at the border.
