July 8 on FM: The Coup in Honduras Update, Susy Sepulveda & LSB Election Information

We will have a critical conversation with Eva Golinger. Golinger has been reporting up to the minute news on the coup in Honduras. Eva Golinger is a Venezuelan-American attorney, writer and investigator. Author of The Chávez Code: Cracking US Intervention in Venezuela (2005) and Bush vs. Chávez: Washington’s War on Venezuela. A native New Yorker currently residing in Caracas, living passionately every moment of the Bolivarian Revolution.

And, Susy Sepulveda one of the young organizer’s for this year’s Riot Grrrl Carnival held on the 4th of July at all ages club, The Smell. We’ll be talking with Susy, about what goes into curating an all ages, feminist, 1 day music festival and the community of emerging young feminist artists & supporters. As a Chicana feminist musician Susy Sepulveda is breathing new life to Riot Grrrl and helping us understand what young women want from feminism today and what it means to them.

And, If you haven’t heard yet, you will this Wednesday what you need to know for the upcoming LSB election.
